Whether you want to call them Christmas Chalets, Log Cabins or just plain old stalls, there are plenty to choose from. From toasting your own marshmallows to hotdogs, to cheese to coffee and hot chocolate you’re sure to find a treat to your taste. Plus there’s the beer keller for alcoholic tipples. Wrap up warm though!

So what exactly is there for sale? If you prefer a surprise and want to discover the chalet delights by yourself then click away. However if you want to be prepared for how much spending money you might get through (maybe more than you think), then read on.

Please be aware that we have tried to include prices wherever possible. Personally I hate it when stalls or shops don’t have their prices visible and I avoid them, so if the prices weren’t on display then I haven’t included them.

Christmas Chalet FAQs

Are the chalets open all day?

They are open the same time as Christmas by the Sea, so from midday to 9pm daily, except Christmas Day.

Do they accept debit and credit cards?

As far as we can tell, they all accept cards. Some stalls do have notices saying that they prefer cash, but that they still accept cards.

Do they all sell food and drink?

No, there are also a couple of gift type chalets. Each time I have visited, the most popular stall has been the one selling personalised Christmas decorations.

Is there anywhere to sit to eat and drink?

There are some wooden benches in the main area. The main chalet selling beer and wine has indoor seating.

Other Christmas by the Sea Attractions

Need to work off all those churros you’ve just eaten? Why not have a workout at the free ice skating rink or wander up to the light installations. Or perhaps just enjoy the fairground rides.
